Billie Eilish and Takashi Murakami Teamed Up for UNIQLO UT Collection

Published

on

If you’ve been contemplating adopting Billie Eilish’s oversized style while sheltering in place, consider her collaboration with UNIQLO UT your sign to go for it. The pop star has teamed up with contemporary artist Takashi Murakami (once again) to create a series of graphic t-shirts for the retailer and we can’t wait to cop ours before they sell out.

The Billie x Murakami x UNIQLO designs are a combination of the two artists’ unique motifs. Featuring 18 designs across women, men, and kids, the tees feature Billie’s symbolic Blohsh and Murakami’s pop flowers. Billie and Murakami became friends when after they messaged each other on Instagram and collaborated originally on the pop star’s music video for the song You Should See Me In A Crown. Billie also visited Murakami’s studio in Tokyo when they worked on that Garage cover together.

The UNIQLO t-shirts themselves have pops of neon and are the ultimate merch for Billie Eilish fans. Designs include a collage of Billie’s photos, a sketch taken from her music video, and a UT-exclusive Billie Eilish logo. From a Sailor Moon collab to BT21 tees, UNIQLO’s UT collection has been the source of some of our favorite t-shirts.

Retailing for under $15, this collection with Billie Eilish is the bright neon fix we need right now. Size up if you want to get her signature oversized look. The collection launches on May 25 on UNIQLO.com and in physical stores from May 29 as they reopen.
